NSW produced a second-half blitz to beat Queensland 36-12 in the under-20 rugby league State of Origin clash at Penrith's Centrebet Stadium on Saturday.
Centre Charly Runciman, winger George Jennings and halfback Mitch Cornish all crossed twice and hooker Michael Lichaa once as the Blues scored seven tries to two.
The Blues piled on 28 unanswered second-half points after trailing 12-8 at halftime.
They retained the Darren Lockyer Shield after winning the inaugural match last year.
"Words can't describe it - to put the Blues jersey on and winning against the Queenslanders is something special," NSW captain and Canterbury prop David Klemmer told AAP.
"They win everything, so it was good to get the win."
Most of the tries came down Queensland's right-hand side.
NSW led 8-0 through tries to Jennings, the younger brother of Roosters star and representative back Michael, and Runciman.
The Maroons hit back with two tries in three minutes through forward Brandon Tago and halfback Anthony Milford, with the latter converting both.
The second half was all one-way traffic after Lichaa smashed his way over from dummy half to trigger the landslide.
Runciman scored his second try and was held up over the line as he went for a hat-trick.
Cornish bagged his brace and Jennings went over for a second four-pointer, with centre Dylan Walker converting four of the seven tries.
"We had a few chances - we didn't execute as well as we would like," said Queensland coach Andrew Dunemann.
